Semantic Web Atelier

The Know-Center, Graz and the Institute for Knowledge Management of the Graz Technical University have established the Semantic Web Atelier SWAT. SWAT allows for exchanging experience and knowledge in the field of Semantic Web. Students and postgraduates are invited to meet with peers and discuss their work on Semantic Web and semantic technologies. SWAT is taking place each third Wednesday of a month. Usually 1 or 2 presentations will be delivered followed by an open-ended discussion.

Events Series - "Faktor Wissen in Geschäftsprozessen"

In Europa schreitet die Automatisierung von Geschäftsprozessen stetig voran. Dies geschieht nicht zuletzt als Reaktion auf den sich verschärfenden globalen Wettbewerb. Mehr den je zeichnet sich ab, dass Wissen als Produktionsfaktor zusehends an Bedeutung gewinnt, besonders in Ländern mit hohem Lohnniveau. Die erfolgreiche Inwertsetzung der Ressource Wissen wird folglich zunehmend über Erfolg oder Misserfolg auf globalen Märkten entscheiden.

Zur Veranstaltungsreihe von insiders in Kooperation mit dem Know-Center werden Experten aus der Praxis eingeladen, um erfolgreiche Industrieprojekte und ihre Erfolgsfaktoren vorzustellen.
